In times like these, nothing soothes the soul and lifts the spirit more than music of the people. Music, dance, laughter, and sharing good times and good food with old friends and new, these are the joyful bonds that have always kept folks around the world together when it looked like everything else was falling apart. This is the “folk power” celebrated and perpetuated by FolkWorks.

FolkWorks is presenting a day long Folk/Roots Festival on March 24, 2018, an opportunity to experience the culture of other countries…and our own; an opportunity to experience the healing power of music…and learn the pleasure of playing and dancing and eating together.

To successfully produce this Festival, FolkWorks depends on your generosity. 100% of the money we raise in this campaign will go to pay talented performers and teachers. Please donate what you can to allow us to present the best diverse musical traditions for this amazing event.
